  1. Files uploaded by users for processing.
  1. xPeerd review reports to make them available for you to share with journal editors, reviewers, on preprint servers, and co-authors, of course, subject to your discretion. If you wish to share xPeerd review report, use the "Share" feature to generate a public URL.
  1. How We Use Your Information xPeerd processes your data solely for the purpose of providing its intended services. All data processed during your session is automatically deleted when the session ends. We do not:
  1. Store your uploaded files after your session ends.
  1. Share your personal information with any third parties except as outlined in Section 5.
  1. Data Storage and Retention Policy: xPeerd does not retain user uploaded files beyond the session duration. No personal identifiers or files are stored on our servers after the session ends.
  1. Data Security: We employ state-of-the-art encryption and security protocols to safeguard your information during the session. While files are temporarily processed, they remains secure and private during processing.
  1. Sharing Your Information xPeerd will never share your information with any third parties, except under the following conditions:
  1. If required to comply with a lawful court order or legal obligation.
  1. In such cases, only the minimum necessary information will be disclosed, and xPeerd will inform you (if legally permissible) before taking such action.
  1. Your Rights Under UK GDPR As a user, you have the following rights regarding your data:
  1. Right to access: You may request information about how your data is processed during your session.
  1. Right to erasure: xPeerd ensures that all uploaded files are deleted automatically when the session ends.
  1. Right to restriction of processing: You may choose not to provide certain information during your session.
xPeerd reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy as necessary to comply with legal and operational changes. All updates will be communicated through the Platform, and the effective date will be revised accordingly.
